This is the first installment of the Year Of The Ox project that I dropped on 6/20/08… It features Myself & Kraftmatik on the vocals and production from me, Tape Mastah Steph, Rezinate & Juicy. We created this entire album (23 tracks) in a meer 2 months, shit was mad fun.

Year Of The Ox is a collective of musicians which birthyears fall on the Ox, the Ox being one of the 12-year cycle of animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac. Most recently these years have fallen on 1973, 1985, 1997 and currently 2009.

Me and El Teach just finished producing this new EP “Commercial Free” for the homies Weazle & Phatt Chris of Dark Figures Division. I would best describe this album, musically,  somewhere between Hyphy/Horror-core/Hippie Hop & Punk… alotta strange fusion, but it works. Lyrically they do their thang, hilarious song content and  some pretty authentically witty shit, not to mention a few drops from yours truly.
